Biography

Ivy Shepherd attended the University of Georgia, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology in 2013.  In 2016, she received her Juris Doctor degree from Florida Coastal School of Law where she received an honors scholarship. Upon graduating from law school, Attorney Shepherd began her career as an Associate at Ashley Miles P.C. where she continues in her field of practice.

Attorney Shepherd specializes in family law, criminal defense, divorce, child custody, and child support cases.  With a special dedication to child welfare, Attorney Shepherd represents children in Juvenile Court on both the delinquency and dependency side as well as representing the best interest of children that are the subject of custody proceedings in Superior Court.

Attorney Shepherd is Georgia Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Georgia. Attorney Shepherd is very active in numerous professional legal organizations including the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Ms. Shepherd currently serves as the President of the Atlantic Judicial Circuit Bar Association as well as the Vice President for the Glyn County Young Lawyers Division of the Bar Association.

Ms. Shepherd is very involved in her community in Darien, Georgia.  She is the Chairman of the Planning and Zoning Committee for the City of Darien and has previously served with the local Chamber of Commerce.
